Το Ερευνητικό Εργαστήριο Συστημάτων Υπολογιστών, Ασφάλειας και Δικτύων (ΣΥΑΔ) και το IEEE ΑΤΕΙΤΗΕ Student Branch διοργανώνουν Hands-on Workshop με τίτλο “A Byte about Git (Cause a byte is 8x better)” με Instructor τον κ. Κώστα Μπαριώτη, πτυχιούχο του Τμήματος μας και Software Engineer, Geekbot (https://kostasbariotis.com).

Description:
Git is the industry standard version control system of software development. It’s being used on every software house or team, for internal or open source development. Git is without a doubt, the number one required knowledge you must have in order to start working on a software project. On this Workshop, we will start by exploring the basics of Git and continue with the most usual workflows you might be using it in the future, including the well known Git service, GitHub. Finally, we will try to either do a contribution to an open source project or create our own personal website. This Workshop is intended for Computer Science students and requires you to have Git installed on your computer and an active account on GitHub.
